He is well respected as a clinician and teacher and has authored original publications in journals of repute.He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine in the United Kingdom & Is a Member of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), United Kingdom.

Dr. Ramesh Venkataraman, Director, is American Board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is also a Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP & American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). He was an Assistant Professor in the prestigious Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which prides itself with the largest multidisciplinary critical care training program in the world. He is a Senior consultant at the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and the clinical lead for the Neuro Critical Care Unit. He has more than 10 years of experience in tele-ICU with Hicuity Health Care (USA). Dr. Ramesh Venkataraman has completed a post-doctoral certification in clinical education and has a special interest in simulation-based education. He has several original publications including a few on the applications and value of simulation-based education. He has also authored book chapters and editorials.
